At Lawpath, we’re constantly working behind the scenes to make sure you always have the best user experience. Hence, this month we 4 product updates that we’re excited to share with you:
- 1 – A new feature with workflows
- 2 – Made it possible to insert signatures from file
- 3 – Document bookmarks
- 4 – Created an easy-to-use eligibility checker for the Victorian Government Digital Adaptation Program.
Workflows help users realise that one task you complete (e.g. creating an employment contract) is often part of a broader set of requirements. Thus, helping you undertake each process with confidence, knowing that you’ll be meeting all your legal obligations and doing things the right way.
eSign Signatures from File
Our eSign feature has now become even more customisable. Every time you wish to sign a document you can upload a pre-made signature from file. Therefore, meaning that if you have a photo of a physical signature you can upload it directly onto the platform with ease.

Lawpath Document Bookmarks
You’ve been giving us valuable feedback and we’ve listened! Our new Bookmark feature allows users to flag documents for future completion from the Lawpath document library, search and document pages. Consequently for users, you can find bookmarked documents in your ‘My bookmarks’ folder within your library. Valuable information such as the date the document was last updated and the status of the document is included. Examples of the document status include: awaiting signature, completed, etc.
Victorian Government $1,200 Rebate

The Small Business Digital Adaptation Program is a $20,000,000 investment to help Victorian small businesses to trial new software and improve their digital capability. Lawpath is proud to partner with the Victorian Government to help businesses adapt to the digital operating environment and prepare for the new COVID normal. Hence, through this plan, eligible Victorian businesses will receive a rebate to cover 12 months of access to a Lawpath legal plan.
Am I eligible for the rebate?
Eligible businesses are required to:
- Have held a valid ABN since 13 September 2019
- Be a sole trader, microbusiness or small business
- Be operating their business in Victoria
- Pay for the subscription (legal plan) themselves
If I’m eligible, what are my next steps?
The claim your rebate you must first register for the program on the Business Victoria website here. You must apply by 30 June 2021 or before the allocated funds are exhausted to be eligible. Next, once registered the next step is to purchase one of our legal plans and provide evidence (ie. your invoice) as part of your rebate application.
