Yes! You’ll get full access to our editing tools with your first free document, including the ability to collaborate with others. To unlock unlimited edits and templates, simply upgrade to one of our legal plans.

If a Lawpath user shares a document with you, you can collaborate on a free account. Your access depends on the permission level they’ve set:

  • Editor – Edit or suggest text, accept answers, use AI tools, and manage sharing
  • Suggester – Suggest text, comment, and answer assigned questions
  • Viewer – View the finalised document and leave comments

Real-time editing means you and your team can work on the same document at the same time, with all changes appearing instantly. If you step away from the document, platform and email notifications will keep you up to date with any changes.
Not yet. At the moment, real-time editing is only available for Lawpath templates. We’re working on allowing team editing for uploaded documents. You can still upload your own documents to use AI Review, eSign, and securely store them in our contract management system.
Yes. All document activity is securely logged, and your data is stored in ISO-27001 certified data centres, ensuring compliance with Australian privacy laws.
