 The Role

We’re looking for 3+ year PQE lawyers to join the Lawpath team. The role involves providing advice and drafting services to all types of businesses. You will work alongside a fast-growing team of software developers, technologists, marketers and salespeople to improve the way legal services are delivered in Australia.

You will work in a fast-paced environment and be able to juggle multiple clients and consultations at once. You will speak with multiple new and existing clients everyday and own the client relationship. Most importantly, you will be able to adapt and grow in a startup environment and help build the practice areas of the firm. You will be supervised and supported by a Principal solicitor and work amongst a team of entrepreneurial lawyers. 

 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide general commercial legal advice and drafting to small and medium businesses and startups;
  • Confidence to conduct unsupervised consultations providing advice on matters such as, business structuring, general employment, IP, commercial contracts and more;
  • Own client relationships and be in charge of building the value of those relationships;
  • Review, draft and provide advice on commercial contracts;
  • Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop new products / services;
  • Clear record keeping via CRM and internal systems.

  • Experienced: At least 3 years experience as a commercial lawyer

As a Customer Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers are onboarded correctly and successfully adopt the Lawpath Platform. You will become a trusted advisor to the customer that are starting their business journey.

In this role you'll be:

  • Providing assistance to Lawpath customers when first starting their business.
  • Onboarding customers to the Lawpath platform via phone consultations.
