Hi, I’m Amogh, a commercial lawyer who takes a human-centred approach to legal work. I focus on what my clients are actually trying to achieve and give them practical, plain-English advice they can act on. Having worked both in private practice and in-house, I know what it’s like to be on each side of the advice, and I bring that commercial lens to every matter.
I hold a Juris Doctor from Monash University. I started my career Law Squared, working in employment and workplace relations and then corporate and commercial law, before moving in-house as Legal Counsel at Davidson. In 2026 I was named as a finalist for the Rising Star of the Year (In-House) Award at the Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards. Outside my day job, I’m the founder and host of the ChatterMatters podcast, which shares the career journeys of people across the legal profession. I have spoken to over 20 lawyers, including the Hon. Michael Kirby AC CMG (former Justice of the High Court of Australia). I also write for LexisNexis’s In-house Counsel Newsletter, and in my 'down-time' you’ll find me running (I’ve completed the Melbourne and Gold Coast half marathons) or tracking down a good coffee.
