Ryan is an accredited Family Law Specialist and heads up a dedicated team of experienced Family Lawyers and practices in all areas of Family Law. Since graduating from law Ryan has worked predominately in Family Law. He joined Andersons as a Senior Associate specialising in Family Law in 2010 and became the youngest Partner at Andersons in 2012. He has a keen interest in Family Law property settlements; particularly those settlements involving investment properties, share portfolios, family trusts, self-managed super funds and proprietary limited companies.
Where possible, Ryan tries to settle matters out of Court by negotiation and/or mediation. He is a firm believer in the use of out of Court alternatives known as Alternative Dispute Resolution, where possible, to avoid Court action. Most of his matters settle without proceeding to Court and very few of those that do proceed to Court make it all the way to trial. This reduces the emotional and financial burden of the case for his clients. Ryan has a very client orientated approach, focusing on punctuality, open communication and transparency. He provides honest advice to his clients so that their expectations are both realistic and achievable.
