Prior to establishing Dewar Legal in 2013, Tom worked for a private legal firm for five years. Before that he worked for the Commonwealth Department of Immigration and Citizenship as well as South Australia Police.
Tom regularly appears in state and Commonwealth courts and tribunals. He has experience as both trial and appellate counsel.
Tom is a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of South Australia, a member of the Legal Services Commission's Family Law and Complex Criminal Law Panels, and a member of the Law Council of Australia's Family Law Section.
